1. Who we are
KleanerLink ("KleanerLink," "we," "us") is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking residential and commercial cleaning ("Customers") with independent cleaning professionals ("Cleaners"). KleanerLink is a venue and intermediary only. We do not perform cleaning services, do not employ Cleaners, and are not a party to the agreement formed between a Customer and a Cleaner.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. By using KleanerLink you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts and verification
You are responsible for your account and credentials. To post a job, Customers must complete identity verification and address verification through our third-party providers. Cleaners must complete identity verification and be approved before bidding. Verification reduces but does not eliminate risk; we do not guarantee the identity, conduct, qualifications, or safety of any user. You remain responsible for your own judgment and precautions.
4. How the marketplace works
Customers post cleaning jobs with scope, photos, schedule, and a starting bid. Cleaners may submit price bids and optional time counteroffers. When a Customer accepts a bid, a booking is formed directly between the Customer and the Cleaner; KleanerLink facilitates the connection. Exact address and access details are shared with the assigned Cleaner only after booking.
5. Payments and fees
Currently, payment for services is arranged directly between Customer and Cleaner, and KleanerLink does not process payments. When KleanerLink enables in-platform payments, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe), KleanerLink will charge a service fee (currently 15% of the accepted price), and payouts to Cleaners will be released after completion/approval or a defined no-dispute window. KleanerLink does not store full payment card data. Fees are disclosed before you transact and may change with notice.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: harass, threaten, or endanger any person; create unsafe conditions; fail to disclose pets, weapons, or hazards; misrepresent identity or scope; circumvent the platform to avoid fees; scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service; or use KleanerLink for any unlawful purpose. Violations may result in suspension or permanent ban, and we may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.
7. Off-platform circumvention
Soliciting or arranging transactions introduced through KleanerLink outside the platform to avoid fees or protections is prohibited and may result in termination.
8. Content and license
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., photos, notes). You grant KleanerLink a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display that content as needed to operate the service.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY CLEANERS OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLEANERLINK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF CUSTOMERS OR CLEANERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 6 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR SUCH OTHER AMOUNT AS THE PARTIES MAY AGREE IN WRITING.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KleanerLink from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, your interactions with other users, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Dispute resolution
Disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect users or the platform.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the service or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
