By creating a Cleaner account and bidding on jobs, you agree to the following.
1. Independent contractor status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of KleanerLink. You control how you perform your work, supply your own tools/materials (unless otherwise agreed with a Customer), and are solely responsible for your own taxes, licenses, and any required business registration.
2. Eligibility and verification
You must be 18+, legally authorized to work, and complete identity verification. You may not bid until KleanerLink has approved your account. You agree your profile information (display name, service area, experience, insurance status) is accurate.
3. Insurance
You represent your insurance status accurately (your own insurance, a platform per-job option where offered, or uninsured). KleanerLink does not provide insurance unless explicitly enrolled, and you are responsible for understanding your own coverage.
4. Conduct and safety
You agree to perform services professionally and lawfully; to respect Customers, their property, and their privacy; to report safety incidents through the platform; and to follow the stated scope. You will not perform work outside your competence or any work KleanerLink prohibits (e.g., yard work, exterior maintenance, where excluded).
5. Bids, bookings, and scope
Your bid is an offer to perform the described scope at the stated price and time. Once a Customer accepts, you are committing to perform that work. The exact address and access instructions are provided to you only after booking and must be kept confidential and used solely to perform the job.
6. Payments and fees
Currently, payment is arranged directly with the Customer. When in-platform payments are enabled, payments are processed by Stripe, KleanerLink retains a service fee (currently 15%), optional per-job insurance fees may be deducted, and your payout is released after completion/approval or a defined no-dispute window.
7. No circumvention
You will not solicit or arrange off-platform transactions with Customers introduced through KleanerLink to avoid fees or protections.
8. Suspension and termination
KleanerLink may pause a job, place your account under review, suspend, or terminate it for safety reports, policy violations, or to protect users. Serious reports (e.g., theft or emergencies) may trigger an automatic pause pending review.
9. Disclaimers and liability
KleanerLink is a venue only and is not responsible for disputes between you and Customers. The limitation-of-liability and indemnification terms in the Terms of Service apply to you.
